I thought this was great. Lovely initiative and hopefully something that brings positive ideas and feelings to and for gaming and tech in general. Please let it be even more accepted to be nerdy. Also, programming is fun, not just weird characters on a screen with black background and green font. This truly warms my gut. Society is moving in the right direction 🙂
A couple of days back a friend of mine shared this video with me and being a fan of Danny’s I of course loved this one as well. And I loooove how it flirts with the eighties. Reminds me of TRON. And the music. Sounds like Toto, Journey and Foreigner. Apparently the genre is called AOR (I learned something new). Album oriented rock. Anyways, just take a look at the video and be amazed of what a person can do. And if you like it, just look at his previous videos too, featuring awesome music as well (Band of Horses, Jezabels, etc).
I also want to post these somewhat related videos. They’re about a particularly agitated mountain biker who isn’t super good at climbing steep hills with his bike. Which of course is caught on tape and ending up being hilarious. Haha. I can’t stop watching these. I can somewhat relate to his rage, though he is lots worse than I am thankfully.
A colleague of mine recommended I watch this viral ad from Dove. I’m not usually one to focus on appearances since a person’s personality is what matters most to me. But if you’d necessarily have to focus on it I think this video raises a good point. As for me myself I’m probably a bit too confident when it comes to how I look. I don’t care too much but much more than I used to do, and I prefer to think that I look decent at least. And hey, I think that’s better than going around and being harsh on yourself. Love yourself instead! And watch this three minute short clip. It’s worth your time. Really.
