Yesterday we took path in an event hosted by Voi where all participants got to walk, run or ride on the newly built freeway. I’ve been riding it a few times in the past but now it was all completed. All of the money gathered through entry fees went to Voi which is great since it’s all for a good cause, just like Åsunden Runt that we took part in a few months back. Was happy to see that so many took part in it, apparently over 1000 persons and closer to 1500. Really cool!

Now the freeway is open to the public and cars are using it instead of the old one between Borås and Ulricehamn which was quite unsafe and claimed the lives of quite a few commuters. Let’s hope that they stretch the freeway so that it covers the distance between Jönköping and Ulricehamn as well.
