I’m not working anymore. Yay. Or something. Sadly there is no feeling of joy this year around but it’s nice not having to do anything at least. Maybe catching up on a few things that you haven’t had the time or energy to spend time on. I decided not to have any fancy ideas of what this summer would be like. No grand plans of any sort. There are things in my mind that I’d surely want to do but I’m putting those on hold since they either involved a loved one or someone to travel with. For one I’d wanna go to a cabin in the Swedish alps and just relax and hike. Or as I saw this car today I felt the urge to have one and travel with a friend or partner, no plans where to, just casually driving and staying where it feels nice.
Unlike many I feel like I don’t have those plans of exploring cities, meeting people, traveling to all the capitals with lots of people. Sure, that’d be nice to do too. But I’m more of a relaxing person and I wanna see things. Like Grand Canyon. I feel like the movie Into the Wild captures all of this perfectly. Great movie by the way. Watch it, take it all in, enjoy, cry, meditate, and so on. Lovely.
Anyway, so nothing particular this summer. Which felt a bit boring earlier on but now I feel that it’s OK. I sold my U-port ticket since I don’t want anything at all to do. Maybe I’ll regret it, maybe not. But it feels nice knowing you don’t have to do anything. You can just do whatever you feel like at the moment. I feel like I’ll spend most of my time on games, movies and TV shows. FZ have this thing going on where you’re supposed to finish as many games as you can during July. Unfortunately I didn’t start my vacation until now so that leaves me with only two and a half week. But we’ll so how it goes. So far my list looks like this:
- Metro Last Light
- Tomb Raider
- The Walking Dead
- The Wolf Among Us
- BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea 1 & 2
- Device 6
I have a couple of other games that I’ve been longing to play, like The Witcher and Dishonored but we’ll all see how it goes. GTA V I have lying around since last summer/autumn or whenever it was. But mostly I’m looking forward to playing The Wolf Among Us, Device 6 and the DLCs for BioShock Infinite. Device 6 seems like a fun and interesting puzzle game. And BioShock Infinite I fell in love with earlier this year. Looking forward to meeting Booker and Elizabeth again. Loved them!
Apart from that, hope you’re all doing good. You might not see much of me in real life or on here in the coming month. Or maybe you will. Who knows..
Oh and yeah, haven’t forgotten that topic I promised to write about. Eventually. In time. Surely.
Got a cute greeting from two of my best buddies’ kid. Isn’t she adorable? There must be something good in me after all 😉
