There’s this really nifty feature in Chrome that I barely use but that I came across a few months back. Don’t know why I don’t use it more often since it’s really nice but yeah. Maybe because it doesn’t work on all sites. What I found is that if you start by typing a domain, for instance youtube.com and then press tab, you’ll be able to search YouTube directly from the Chrome address bar. Just like you would searching Google. So instead of going to YouTube and THEN writing your search query, you skip that step and search directly. It’s really neat and it’s based on the Open Search standard.
